TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The 2013 Tallahassee Tech Expo will highlight the future of Information Technology on May 9, 2013.
The Tallahassee Technology (TalTech) Alliance and the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) are hosting the event, which will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m at the Florida State University Turnbull Center. The theme is "The Road Ahead: Technology, Tools, Talent, and Training."
Those who choose to attend will have direct access to hear from educators and researchers from regional institutions, government officials, and administrators on current technology topics. Attendees can expect to learn new IT industry developments and time-saving techniques, how to get new IT ventures off the ground, and ways they can do their jobs or run their organizations more productively and profitably.
According to event organizers, there were 250 regional professionals and students in attendance at the 2012 TechExpo, entitled "#whereIT’s@." They are expecting an even larger turnout at this year's expo.
