TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--After a panel decided Tallahassee has the best tap water in the state of Florida, the city's H2O moves on to a nationwide competition.
The national "best of the best" competition is taking place in Anaheim, California.
Last month, the city won the statewide competition after a panel of four environmental professionals evaluated unmarked water samples judging them on color, clarity, taste and odor.
Participants represented public water systems in 12 regions throughout Florida.
Several other competitions are taking place in Anaheim as well.
There will also be a pipe-tapping contest, a meter madness race, and a hydrant hysteria contest.
