TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Today wrapped up a week full of events encouraging entrepreneurship in the Capital City.
Tallahassee Startup Week featured 45 workshops and meetups, including 25 at the TCC Center for Innovation.
The coordinator of TCC's entrepreneurship initiative called Spark says the Capital City is prime territory for important work to take shape.
"There's bits and pieces that have to work together to make this happen," said Rick Paul, the coordinator for TCC Spark. "The financing part has got to come in, the talent part has got to come in, and then the idea flow has to come in. Well, we actually have all three of the components -- and they're here now. It's just we have to come together in a united effort to make this happen."
The week of events came to a close with a special expo of local startups.
