TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- November is Alzheimer's awareness month and the City of Tallahassee is offering free memory screenings tomorrow in response.
Also available at the event will be free blood pressure, glucose, and stroke screenings along with brown bag medication reviews.
While memory screenings can not be used to diagnose illnesses, they can be good indicators of mental health and wellness and can also help decide whether the patient should go to their doctor for a more complete visit.
Screenings will be available tomorrow from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Tallahassee Senior Center on North Monroe Street.
