TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- The Tallahassee Regional Airport is stopping direct flights to Washington D.C.

Leaders say it's because of the merger between American Airlines and US Airways. The changes were mandated by settlements with the Justice Department. Airport leaders are now working to get the service reactivated.

Other cities losing daily non-stop flights to Washington include Pensacola, Fort Walton Beach, Savannah, Detroit and San Diego.
