TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is training volunteers on how to use emergency response vehicles to aid victims of Harvey.

It's called ERV training.

Each volunteer is versed on how to drive it safely.

Thousands of those displaced are hungry and in need of a warm meal and dry goods.

The ERV's are designed to feed and offer the first contact help that's needed.
