TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-- Tallahassee's first lady Jane Marks, Mayor Marks's wife, is preparing for "Shop Local Saturday." She started the event three years ago to encourage people to support local businesses that drive the local economy.
Jane leads a group of ladies each month on a shopping trip. Saturday, January 11 will mark the three year anniversary. It starts at 11:00 a.m. at Abby & Taylor, followed by shopping at Sweet Blue and Laid Back Luxe.
