Tallahassee Police search for three for shoplifting from Macy's

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is looking for two people they say went into the Macy's at Governor's Square Mall and stole $1,400 worth of merchandise.

They said that three suspects came in to Macy's on May 30 and on June 5, only two of the three came back into the same store. 

During the May 30 incident, three suspects,  two women and one man, entered the Macy’s, loaded up empty shopping bags, and walked out of the store without paying.

TPD says the estimated value of the merchandise stolen was $1,400.

On Monday, two of the three same people came back into Macy’s. They say suspects hid clothing inside large Dillard’s shopping bags. They said the suspects then walked out.

A Loss Prevention Detective who works for Macy's, attempted to stop the suspects outside of the store, but was pepper-sprayed by the male suspect.

Both suspects got away in a large white SUV.

The suspects were described in the following manner: 

Black male suspect

 o Approximately 5'7 200-220 pounds

 o Wearing dark colored flip flops w/ light blue hat

 o Blue/White pants (possible sweatpants) w/ black shirt

 o Carry several Dillard's bags

Black female suspect

 o Approximately 5'11 170 pounds

 o Wearing white hat

 o Dark pants and blue shirt 

 o Carrying a Dillard's bag
