TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Tallahassee Police responded to a shooting Friday that brought one man to the hospital and put an elementary school on lockdown.
Police say that a shooting took place on the 1700 block of Joe Louis Street.
According to officers, when they arrived on the scene, they found a man with a non-life threatening wound. TPD says he was brought to a local hospital.
According to Leon County Schools, Riley Elementary School was put on lockdown for about 20 minutes, saying that they went on lockdown because law enforcement were working a scene in the area.
