TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Tallahassee police say Florida State running back Karlos Williams is not being charged following a domestic battery investigation.
Police say they don't have enough evidence to move forward, and both Williams and the woman involved refused to talk with officers. Police are now calling it an "open but inactive" investigation.
The investigation started last month, after social media reports alleged domestic abuse.
Newly released documents show the victim repeatedly denied any opportunities to meet with investigators or officers, give them a statement, or send any pictures from the original post.
The victim's attorney also sent investigators a non-prosecution agreement, asking officers to stop the investigation.
