TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Police are investigating an armed robbery at a local Walgreens store.
TPD says about 6:30pm Monday night, a man walked into the Walgreens on East Magnolia, walked over to the prescription counter, pulled out what appeared to be a handgun, and demanded prescription medication.
The pharmacist handed over his request and the man ran out of the store.
No one was injured.
The description of the suspect is vague, only that he appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, was wearing all dark clothing and his face and head were covered.
TPD says they can't link this armed robbery to one at Envision Credit Union a few hours earlier, but they haven't ruled out the possibility.
They are asking anyone with information to call the Tallahassee Police Department at (850) 891-4200.
