TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a suspicious death.
Police say it happened around 5:15 p.m. Saturday at 1602 Stuckey Avenue, the site of Big Bend Homeless Coalition's Home Front apartment complex for formerly homeless Veterans.
Officers and emergency crews gave one victim immediate medical attention on scene, but the victim died from their injuries. Multiple TPD crews were still on scene hours after the initial call Saturday night.
The case has been assigned to TPD's Violent Crimes Unit and an investigation is ongoing. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the case to call them at (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
