TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a Monday morning shooting.
They say it happened around 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
Officers say they were called to the 1400 block of Coleman Street near Springhill Road about a male victim suffering a gunshot wound to the hand. After providing immediate medical aid, he was taken to a local hospital for his non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still working to determine the location of the shooting. The case has been assigned to investigators with TPD's Violent Crimes Unit.
