TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Police honored several fallen officers Thursday morning.
Dozens gathered at police headquarters to remember those who died in the line of duty.The service honored officers Warren Gay, Ruby Rouden, Ernest Kearn Ponce de Leon, Daniel Green, and Michael Saunders.
Wreath and flowers were placed by family members on a memorial plaque.
Those who took part say it's important to never forget the sacrifices these men and women made for our community.
Earlier this week law enforcement agencies from across Florida came together for the annual law enforcement officer memorial march and ceremony.
