TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A safety and sobriety checkpoint is coming up this Thursday in Tallahassee.
The Tallahassee Police Department made the announcement on social media Tuesday.
Police will be hosting the checkpoint in the 1800 block of East Park Avenue from 8:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. and will be well marked by signage, marked patrol vehicles, and uniformed officers.
The operation is designed to have a minimal impact on traffic flow and to save lives.
Law enforcement has a legal obligation to publish this information prior to the check point taking place.
