TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Tallahassee police have arrested a woman accused of shooting at a home with children inside.
The incident happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 6, when a woman in a home on Sundown Lane was awakened by a brick being tossed through her window.
The woman went outside and began arguing with two people outside . The argument was over an incident involving the woman's daughter. When the woman turned her head, she told police that someone pulled out a gun and began shooting.
More than ten shots were reportedly fired, and the woman said that she was afraid because she had several children in side the house.
The suspects were later pulled over on Pottsdamer Street. The woman accused of the shooting is 22-year-old Courtney Brown. The other person involved in the argument, Richard Golden, was also arrested.
Brown reportedly had an argument with the woman's daughter, which was posted on her Facebook page. Before the incident, Brown had posted a comment saying, "We too pretty to fight. If you want to go to war bang bang bang."
Brown is charged with attempted murder and firing a gun from a vehicle. Golden is accused of firing a gun from a vehicle and two drug-related charges; police say crack cocaine was found in the vehicle during his arrest.
Police say they still do not know who threw the brick.
