TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Tallahassee police have arrested a man accused of stabbing another man in a drunken fight.

The incident happened at the U-Haul located on 2201 W. Tennessee Street. The victim, Shepherd Raymond, reportedly entered the business bleeding from his neck and torso from two stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital.

Officers responded to the scene and began to investigate. Police found a broken knife at the scene and talked to several witnesses.

Although the witness' stories vary, all stories say that  the men were sitting around drinking when, for unknown reasons, a fight broke out between the victim and another man, Kent Gideon. Gideon reportedly took out a knife and stabbed Raymond during the scuffle.

Police say they arrested Gideon because he gave two separate accounts of what happened at the scene, and another witness says Gideon attacked the Raymond and stabbed him.

Gideon is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
