TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - To help prevent crime after the holidays, the City of Tallahassee has set up special cardboard-only recycling spots in three community locations.

The special recycling containers will be available through Friday.

They're set up at San Luis Mission Park, Tom Brown Park and the Messer Sports Complex.

There are four spots in Tallahassee where you can get rid of your Christmas tree.

The Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Tom Brown, San Luis and Myers Parks are all drop-off points for your live-cut Christmas tree.

You can also recycle your tree by putting it on the curb on your scheduled yard waste collection day after you remove all decorations.
