TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - You can turn your cans into cash at a recycling event sponsored by the City of Tallahassee and Keep Tallahassee Beautiful.
The annual Cans for Cash event will be held Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot on the Outdoor Living side of Home Depot at 3200 Capital Circle NE.
The event is an ongoing effort to reduce waste and landfill space.
Participants will receive 30 cents per pound for aluminum cans, which will be processed at a local recycling business.
The annual event is held in observance of America Recycles Day, which is on November 15.
