TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A manager at Circle K has been arrested after authorities found out she had stolen $15,000 worth of scratch-off tickets.

Court documents say that the Florida Lottery Division of Security was alerted on June 13 of a loss of money involving scratch-off tickets at the Circle K on Thomasville Road.

A few days later, the Circle K Loss Prevention and Management gave them a list of 51 scratch-off books that were missing from the store's inventory system between May 31 to June 13.

When authorities searched, they found that 21 of the books had been used at that same Circle K.

Documents say that the only one who was working when every book was cashed was the manager, Amanda Betts.

When interviewed on Thursday, she confessed to stealing the books.

Betts was arrested and charged with organized scheming to defraud and grand theft.

Florida Lottery officials are still working to find who's responsible for the remaining books that went missing prior to May 31.
