LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man wanted for felony domestic battery after he slammed his ex-wife's face into a kitchen sink.
According to a probable cause document, the incident Clarence Dixon is wanted for happened back in January.
Deputies responded to a home on Goshawk Way after the victim, Dixon's ex-wife, said that she had been assaulted.
The victim told deputies that though they are divorced, they still live together off and on and have a romantic relationship.
She told them that on January 17, she was cleaning in the kitchen when Dixon came into the kitchen, grabbed her by the back of the head, and slammed her face into the kitchen sink.
The victim told LSCO deputies that she wasn't sure why he did it, but said that he had battered her in the past.
After being taken to the hospital, a doctor determined that the victim had a broken nose that would consistent with the reported battery.
Prior to the incident in January, Dixon has been arrested multiple times since 1992 for domestic battery.
