GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man was killed in a Gadsden County car accident after failing to stop at an intersection.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:05 a.m Thursday between  State Road 269 and State Road 268.

Troopers say Jeremie Brown, 37, of Tallahassee died on scene from injuries sustained in the accident.

Brown was driving westbound on State Road 268 while Roger Scott, 45, of Chattahoochee was driving southbound on State Road 269. FHP said Brown failed to stop at the "T" intersection causing his car to hit the front of Scott's vehicle.

After Brown's vehicle crashed into Scott's car, his car overturned and Scott's car hit a pole.

FHP says both vehicles finally came to a stop in the area of the southwest intersection. Scott was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
