TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man has been arrested in connection to a series of kidnappings and armed sexual batteries in 2015.

Jermichael Lindsey, 34, was arrested on Tuesday on two counts of  kidnapping, three counts of sexual battery with a firearm, one count of aggravated battery with a firearm, and two counts of armed robbery with a firearm.

According to complaint documents, the first incident happened on September 11, 2015.

The victim said that she had come home from Marie Livingston's Steakhouse around 9:40 p.m. and started unloading items from the back seat of her car. While she was doing this, she was attacked by an unknown suspect and forced into the back seat of her car.

During a struggle with the suspect, the victim told Tallahassee Police that she was hit in the head with what she believed to be a handgun. The victim said the suspect told her "I will shoot you, stop fighting," and asked if she had any money.

After a few minutes of struggling the suspect got control and forced the victim inside her own home. The suspect bound the victim's hands together and blindfolded her before sexually assaulting her.

Once the suspect was done, he told the suspect to go into the bathroom and "count to 50" before coming out.

Court documents note that the suspect also told the victim that "we have been watching you for four days," and made multiple reference that "they" had been watching the victim.

The suspect also stole the victim's cellphones.

On September 27, 2015, officers were informed that another victim had been "raped at gunpoint" just two days after the first victim.

The victim told investigators that she had an ad on 'Backpage' for being an escort. On Sept. 13, she was contacted by a man who told her to meet him at an apartment complex.

When she arrived, a suspect jumped out from a wooded area and put a gun to her right temple. Documents say the man forced the victim to go into a dark alleyway and perform oral sex on him with a gun to her head.

Afterward, the suspect sexually assaulted the victim. When he finished, the suspect told the victim not to turn around or he would shoot her.

The suspect also took her cellphone before leaving the area.

An analysis of the phone records in both cases lead investigators to connect Lindsey to the crime. As a result, a warrant was issued for his arrest on Monday.

He was taken into custody the same day and remains in jail.

Lindsey is also on trial for a third armed kidnapping and sexual assault on October 26, 2015. He is due back in court on May 22 for a case management hearing.
