TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Leon County Sunday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 43-year-old Douglas Davis crashed his motorcycle at 1:30 a.m. at the corner of Ox Bottom Road and Kendridge Trail.
Troopers say Davis was going west when he swerved into the eastbound lane, crashing into a mailbox and an electric pole.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was wearing a helmet. They do not know yet if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
