TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man won the $10 million lottery jackpot after purchasing a ticket from a local convenient store.
Craig Dennis, 63, purchased the winning lottery ticket from Maxwell's Grocery on Mahan Drive from the drawing held on Wednesday according to Florida Lottery.
Dennis has chosen to receive the winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of around $6.5 million.
Maxwell's Grocery will receive a bonus commission of $65,000 for selling the winning lottery ticket.
