TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Members of the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force have arrested a Tallahassee man accused of having and distributing child pornography.
The suspect, 25-year-old Zhaozhao Shen, was arrested on February 26.
After serving a search warrant at his home, located on members of the task force reportedly found computer equipment and child pornographic images and videos.
During the investigation, members of the task force downloaded files from Zhaozhao Shen’s computer through a file sharing program and verified his IP (Internet Protocol) address. The search warrant was obtained based on evi ence that files containing images of child sexual performance were being possessed and distributed from Shen’s computer, inside the residence.
Through on scene forensic previews, interviews, and other investigative measures, Shen was arrested and charged with 14 counts of Possession of Child Pornography with intent to Distribute and 1 count of Distribution of Child Pornography. Forensic examinations will continue and additional charges are likely.
Shen was taken to the Leon County Jail.
