TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man has been arrested after admitting to sexually assaulting a disabled person.
Jonahus L. McQuay, 49, went to the victim's residence to pray with her but touched her without permission while she tried to push his hands away and told him to stop doing so, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Speaking with a Tallahassee Police Department investigator about the events, McQuay said he went to the victim's house and met with her because she wanted to pray with him, the court document said.
McQuay, in an interview at the TPD station on Sept. 13, 2018, admitted he touched the victim although she told him to stop and motioned with her arms for him to stop.
He was booked into the Leon County Detention Center on Thursday and released that day on a $40,000 bond.
