TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Tallahassee Police arrest a man after he leads them on a chase from Palmetto Apartments to Nekoma Lane Thursday night.
According to police, Christopher Thompson was speeding near the entrance of the apartments, and when they ran his plates, they discovered he was driving a stolen vehicle. An officer then chased him and pinned his vehicle onto a curb against a light pole. That's when police say Thompson began to run.
Officers were able to catch up and arrest him in the 3-thousand block of Nekoma Lane.
In his car, they found a handgun with only a partial serial number and a stolen gun box. He's charged with grand theft, resisting without violence and possession of an altered firearm.
