Tallahassee man admits to sexually assaulting child

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -  A Tallahassee man has been arrested after admitting to sexually assaulting a young child.

Ivan Henry, 29, was arrested by the Leon County Sheriff's Office on Monday. 

According to the police report, on Monday the victim told her school staff what Henry did to her, and in turn, the staff called in investigators from the Florida Department of Children and Families.

During a forensic interview, the victim discussed in detail exactly what Henry did, the police document stated. Later that day, deputies found Henry at his job, where he confessed to what the victim told school staff and investigators. 

Henry told deputies what he did to the victim did not sexually arouse him. Based on his own admission, he is being charged with sexual battery to a victim under the age of 12. 

He was taken to the Leon County Detention Facility and has been given no bond.
