TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- The new Center of Tallahassee is looking to increase the capacity of an amphitheater built on the mall's property.
According to paperwork filed with the city of Tallahassee Growth Management department, developers are hoping to increase the capacity to 10,000 people.
The project was originally approved for 6,760 people, according to the city.
Also on the agenda list for the Center of Tallahassee is a request to chance an existing building adjacent to the amphitheater from retail space to arena/entertainment space.
The development review meeting will be held on October 12 at 9 a.m. at 435 North Macomb Street in Tallahassee.
