TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -This weekend beer lovers from across the big bend came together for the first ever Tallahassee Beer Festival.
Breweries from across the sunshine state boasted their crafts for capital city patrons.
The event was originally scheduled for October, but Hurricane Michael postponed the event.
Organizers say the hurricane was a blessing in disguise.
"It's great to see that not only the event went off and it happened, but actually i think the hurricane may have been a blessing in disguise a little bit in that it gave us more time to promote it and more time to prepare and we have a lot of people for this event as well," said Danny Aller with the Tallahassee Beer Society.
More than 120 people came out for Saturday's festival.
