TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee International Airport is looking at some new renovations this year.
A variety of life safety system upgrades are expected to be started.
One of which is the security checkpoint, which will be reconfigured to create a third TSA pre-check line.
During the time of construction passengers are advised to arrive at least an hour before your flight depending on your flight time.
Director of Aviation Chris Curry says, the construction should be done later this year.
"The 9 months that construction is underway will slow expediting through the airport significantly," said Curry.
Construction is set to begin on January 9th.
