Tallahassee Hotel Fire Causes Evacuations

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Tallahassee fire crews were called out to the Courtyard Marriott after a fire was reported Monday afternoon.

Tallahassee Fire Department said that the fire was extinguished around 3 pm.

The hotel, located at 1972 Raymond Diehl Rd, was evacuated and fire crews are still trying to salvage stuff from the fire.  As of 4 pm, the 1900 block of Raymond Diehl Road was closed.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
