TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - People in Tallahassee learned how to save lives Saturday.
The 8th annual Press the Chest event gave people training on CPR.
Those skills and the confidence to use them could be the difference between life and death.
"If CPR has not been started immediately on scene and most of the time that will be by a bystander then the rest could be for not," said Sally Davis. "We need the bystander to start CPR immediately."
Everyone who took part in the event got an American Heart Association CPR Anytime kit containing a CPR mannequin, DVD, and educational materials.
