TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Saturday, Periodontal Associates of North Florida helped give back to the community by offering free dental services to more than 100 people.
About 25 dentist performed services for people who do not have dental insurance or can't afford a dentist visit as a part of the 6th annual Dentistry From the Heart.
One of the dentist at the facility says the people who receive the care are more than grateful.
"They are super super appreciative. They help us setup in the morning when we open the doors and its just a wonderful wonderful heart warming event. There thankfulness is incredible," said Periodontist Walter Colon.
Patients also received lunch or breakfast while waiting in line for a dentist.
