TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Some Tallahassee organizations are joining thousands across the country to speak up for immigrant rights and migrant justice Tuesday.

WTXL's Jada Williams was live this Tuesday morning with more behind the team's actions.

Organizers are taking the conversation to the State Capitol for the final day of action to help immigrants

The national group American Friends Service Committee challenged others across the U.S. to speak out for immigrant rights, especially on the heels of the Migrant Caravans coming north from Central America.

The group is pledging support to immigrants and calling out President Donald Trump for what they say is his negative portrayal of those seeking asylum in the United States.

So far, nine people from various backgrounds are slated to take center stage during the vigil.

This is an effort put on by the FLorida People's Advocacy Center, Planned Parenthood, Advocated for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and more.

It's all taking place Tuesday on the steps of the Florida Historic Capitol Building at 12:15 p.m.
