TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahasse's Domi Station is hosting a group discussion on the future of the medical marijuana industry.
Floridians voted yes last November to have medical marijuana legal for specific needs.
About two dozen people gathered with the new Leaders Council Tallahassee at Domi Station and discussed the history of the legalization of marijuana, potential benefits it has on patients, and plans to make it nationwide.
One of the panelists says these types of discussions help further educate people on medical marijuana, which he says has been misunderstood for years.
There are a few medical marijuana dispensaries in the Capital City, with plans for more.
