Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) -- StarMetro is rolling out a new bus in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A pink bus will begin cruising the town for Paint the City Pink.
The pink buy was displayed at C.K. Steele Plaza on October 2nd to help bring awareness. It is going to be put into service for the entire month of October in Tallahassee.
At the event, breast cancer survivors discussed the importance of regular screenings and sharing their experiences. There will also be educational material and information from local representatives of the American Cancer Society and Capital Regional Medical Center.
