TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) -- Local firefighters and a Leon County Sheriff's Deputy were called to Hawks Glenn Thursday morning after a dog traveled too far into an an armadillo hole and got stuck.
According to the City of Tallahassee Fire Department's Facebook, they arrived around 11 o'clock and were working to free the dog from the situation for more than an hour.
In the video posted on their page you can see multiple people working to free the dog, who was trapped under the concrete surrounding a pool.
Emergency workers used shovels as well as other tools, as seen in the video, to dig to the dog and pull him out. The dog does not appear to be injured in the video.
