TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Trick-or-treaters are in for a spectacular surprise when they venture through one Tallahassee neighborhood.
One Tallahassee family has transformed their house into a must-see destination on Halloween.
At the end of the cul-de-sac on Joree Lane, a master is at work. Jonathon White is turning his house into a Halloween Haven.
"I do it, 'cause I'm a kid in heart, and I want to do it and to make kids happy," he said.
Jonathon, his niece Mallory, and his mom have been decorating since Sunday.
Jonathon has cerebral palsy, but that hasn't stopped him from going all out on Halloween. The family has been decorating the house for more than 20 years, with characters including Mickey Mouse and Frankenstein.
The Whites expect a couple hundred trick-or-treaters for Halloween. It's one of many holiday traditions they love putting on for the neighborhood.
The Whites don't just stop at Halloween. They put on displays throughout the year, from Valentine's Day to Independence Day to Christmas.
Jonathon says he gets most of his decorations online, but people have also donated items to add to his collection, and for those who stop by, this house is shaping up to be a treat.
