TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A family is without a home, following a weekend fire.
The Tallahassee Fire Department responded to the Briarwood Manor Apartments off of Shelfer Road around 7:30pm last night. Units from station 3 and 1 saw flames and heavy smoke when they arrived.
The home was occupied at the time but the residents were able to escape unharmed.Minor smoke damage was caused to the adjoining apartments. The Red Cross is currently assisting the adult and three children affected by the fire.
