TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - According to a spokesperson from Leon County Schools, Kate Sullivan Elementary School is taking safety precautions Tuesday after receiving a threatening phone call.
According to the LCS spokesperson, Chris Petley, the school received a computer generated phone call around 10:00 a.m. with non-specific threats to the school.
The district has placed a "heightened sense of security" on the school for the remainder of the day and says that school operations will continue as normal.
LCS says the Leon County Sheriff's Office and the school's Safety and Security Team are looking into the incident.
