TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A Tallahassee early morning fire displaced three people Tuesday.
According to the Tallahassee Fire Department, a call came in around 5am about a fire at 1208 Wright Drive, off Capital Circle southwest. Firefighters say that when they got on the scene, fire and smoke was coming out of the two-story home.
After searching the home, according to firefighters, the three occupants were found outside the home and safe.
The fire department says that they were able to get the fire under control within minutes, and the fire was caused by a well pump inside the home. However, the home damages were estimated around $30,000.
Firefighters say that no injuries were reported.
The fire department was assisted by the Leon County Sheriff's Office, Leon County EMS as well as the Capital Area Chapter of the Red Cross.
