TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority Board will meet to discuss changes for the new year.
Those changes include new leadership.
WTXL ABC 27's Jada Williams was live Monday morning from City Hall.
The Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority is still workshopping plans before they open up the CEO position to applicants.
A couple of months ago, the job opened up after CEO Paige Carter Smith was suspended by former Governor Rick Scott.
Smith along with former city Commissioner Scott Maddox was indicted by the FBI on 44 counts conspiring to operate a racketeering enterprise.
Now ready to move on, the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority is coming together to workshop the CEO job description and make finalized plans before moving forward to find a new leder.
The group will also discuss lighter topics such as Summer Concert Series held every summer at Cascades Park.
It all begins at noon Monday at City Hall.
