TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A new tool to assist local doctors diagnose injuries and disease has been installed in Tallahassee.
The Toshiba Vantage Titan is an advanced whole body MRI system and is up and running at Tallahassee Diagnostic Imaging. The system produces clearer body images, has 90 percent noise reduction, and has the largest patient opening available.
This is the only system of its kind between Atlanta and Tampa. TDI said that they invested in the technology to provide better patient care in our community.
A second system is expected to be installed at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in early 2017.
