TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee diamond and watch store was robbed for the second time in one month. The owner of the Tallahassee Diamond Center is speaking out, after over $200,000 worth of fine jewelry were taken from his watch and estate store.
Tallahassee Watch and Estate was first robbed on October 18th, and then broken into again on the night of November 15th, said the owner. The store's inventory had only been stocked for one business day from the first robbery, when the second break in occurred.
The Owner of the store, Sean Everett is offering a reward of $3,000 for any tips that may lead to an arrest. Everett believes the robberies are connected because of the time frame and the footage obtained from both incidents. The robbers entered through a side window of the store during both break ins. Everette says he just doesn't want to see anyone get victimized or hurt by these thieves.
The Tallahassee Police Department is working both of these robberies. If you have any information you are urged to call TPD at 850-891-4200.
