TALLAHASSEE Fla.-- The City of Tallahassee is considering a bike share program to make the city even more bike friendly.
Tallahassee is currently designated as a Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Community. The addition of a bike share program would encourage bicycle ridership.
The Gotcha Group, who currently operate a free transportation service in and around the FSU campus area, has approached FSU and the City with a plan to bring a bike share system to Tallahassee residents and visitors.
The only cost to the city would be the installation of bicycle racks and signage the installation of the racks and signage.
The proposal will be discussed at the City Commission Meeting on Dec.9th
