TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tuesday night, the Tallahassee community gets to voice their concerns when it comes to law enforcement in the area.

We've seen crime rates increase across the board when it comes to Tallahassee and Leon County. Tuesday night, Tallahassee residents get to hear first hand from Tallahassee Police Chief Michael DeLeo and his plan for fighting crime.

Paulo Salazar was live outside Christian Heritage Church where Tallahassee police chief will talk to residents about the state of crime in the area and how things can get better.

Tuesday night's event is designed to get dialogue underway between law enforcement and the community. Titled "An evening with chief DeLeo", it's also an opportunity for residents to voice their concerns or questions.

It's the first of these type evening talks with chief DeLeo with more to come. Already there is "Coffee with a Cop", just another opportunity to stay involved and transparent.
