TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - November is "Hire a Vet Month" and in honor of the month, Tallahassee Community College hosted a seminar that brought veterans and employers together.
The event called "Building Legacies" included workshops and a guest panel with the hopes of educating veterans and employers about resources available in the community.
Organizers also aimed at helping veterans with the transition back to civilian life.

Suzanne Gardner, an Air Force veteran, explains, "They have helped me with building a resume and things like that so it's great, and they've done a really good job helping me out."
