TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Five candidates competing for Tallahassee City Commission Seat 3 debated Thursday at the Donald L Tucker Civic Center.
The forum was hosted by the Capital City Tiger Bay Club featuring Bill Shack, Jeremy Matlow, Lisa Brown, Richard Garzola and Alexander Jordan.
Each candidate took turns addressing topics from crime to the future of Tallahassee's economy.
Chairman of the Capital City Tiger Bay Club, Steve Birtman, says this might be the most contested race.
"I think this is going to be the closest race we're going to have for city commission," said Birtman. "I think each candidate brings something to the table, but I think this is going to be very close."
Lucky for the candidates, the forum was moderated by our own Sunrise anchor Christine Souders.
